Just recieved emails today from Direct Golf and thegolfshoponline, advising of Big Sale Price Crash on current model Taylormade Gear

Taylormade R11s driver -- £249
Taylormade R11s TP Driver -- £299
Taylormade R11s Fairway -- £149
Taylormade 2011 rescue -- £119
Taylormade R11 irons, 4-PW -- £435

Whats Happening......??
Another NEW MODEL due out that I havent heard about.......??
Or business slow and big stocks to clear.....??
Strange.......

no this is the norm for all manufacturers bring out a new whatever big adverts saying the best ever and how it will have you playing like a pro in a few goes, then cut the price when everyone has fell for the hype then bring out another product a few months later that is better still, and the sad thing is the gullible golfer falls for it,look at the amp, they cant give it away and nearly half the price it was a few weeks ago.

It's good timing, my old man is going for a couple of fairway woods on Monday or maybe a driver and wood, this brings them into the equation now at a realistic price

I definitely think the RBZ has surpassed expectations and they've probably been left with stock to shift. I thought there was a new model due next year to upgrade the R11 irons as they came out last year and the RBZ irons are new this year in most stores

After getting a shot of Brendy's at ballyliffen I am seriously tempted to get the three wood but there was no way I was paying 250 knicker for a fairway. If I hang on another 3 months they will be shifting them to make way for the "next big thing" ;)

The RBZ is a completely different line to the " R " line up
Rather like the Burner line up that always ran alongside the R7, R9, R11, line of clubs
The RBZ and R11 irons are nothing like each other, the R11 irons replaced the TP CB, the TP MC are aimed at a better ball striker than those that would play the RBZ or R11 irons

And Yes, I do agree, the R11 replacement is expected, and most have been expecting it, its just that Ive not read anything about the NEW line up in any of the mags, so wasnt expecting the Price Drop.......
The Current sale prices, are now Below the original Cost Price set at the start of the season..........my mate with shop at my old course will not be pleased, he been taking a few TM deliveries last few weeks..........unless they compensate

There will a new R series soon.
If you look, there is still original R series stock left out there.
TM don't want to be left with R11s stock when the R whatever comes out. So they're shifting it now.
Also the RBZ fairways and hybrid have flown off the shelf leaving R11s stock unwanted.
R11s fairway for the same price as the RBZ - tempting...

Some good deals to be had on all kit at the moment not only the offers as above had one offering burner 09 irons @ £199 cheaper than some places are trying to sell previous model burner tour/plus versions. I would imagine a new launch sept/oct as previous years and probaly R13 due. This sort of thing is not unusual these days.

You can get the R11 fairways for £100 and my local pro is selling off the Superfast 2.0 hybrids for £79.99.

As long as you aren't after the latest released kit there are some good offers around.

I picked up a burner 2.0 hybrid today for £80. A fantastic looking club.

Let's me get a shiney new club without destroying the bank balance.
