so just done my renewal (was waiting on my p60) and asked if anythings changed so gave them my p60 info from last year, then they ask about my childcare costs, I dont have any, haven't for over a year.
I am then told my renewal is complete but they can't stop the childcare and I have to ring a number which I have since found out is a tax credits compliance office. Now its my bad for not checking my award properly last year but I am sure I told them I was no longer using childcare and thought that was that.
Soooo looks like I will have to repay however much it is. I hope they dont think I am being fraudulent and take it further.
Pretty worried right now, since I became a single parent 5 years ago I have worked hard and avoided debt & been straight up with everything. Very annoyed at myself but also slightly bricking it
