2 for me, one by a local tattooist and the other by my mate who's a budding artist.
Took my mate 2 sessions and it hurt like buggery but was worth it, it ain't everyone's taste but that's not the point.

. Just because you've got an opinion, you don't have to share it. I've none myself, only because I couldn't decide. In the mid 90s me and my then girlfriend went. I didn't bottle out, but I didn't know what I wanted. I'm not Chinese or Celtic so that ruled out most of the designs. I thought I'm gonna have to live with this so I left it.
A girl at uni I knew had Winnie the Pooh. It was quite cute in her first year, but her love of the murphys made him ( and her) slightly different looking

I find it best not to judge people based on their skin.

Got a couple of small ones on my arms, my biggest one at the moment is the Iron Maiden one on my leg. Took 6 hours, first 4 were ok, but started to get pretty uncomfortable after that!

I wouldn't personally get one as I've never seen anyone sporting one that I'd actually want to have on my body forever.
I watched a lot of LA ink and there was a lassie who did some brilliant portraits though. Maybe I'll get a face of rickG. He's a handsome laddy.

A tattoo doesn't define someone nor does it automatically cheapen them
My cousin has a tattoo in memory of her sister who passed away from cancer - does that make her cheap ?!
