They were very busy. What really narked me about the royal and ocean course was the stewards buzzing around telling everyone to hurry up. Then you get to a par three and there's a charity 10 euro ball on the green comp which holds everyone up for ten mins. the scots and Germans were both quite angry at being told to hurry.
Having said that when we got to the Faldo/Oconnor course it did look quiter and it may well be because it is a bit out of the way, but not a lot.
Always less quieter the further away you go from Faro airport so you should be fine at Faldo also iy is light at 7am and doesn't get dark until 830ish so no worries about getting 36 holes in a day
