So equally similar comments about Polish, Germans and even Jews is only Nationalism as they are white/Caucasian?

Wrong. Nationalism is the promotion of one's own country. To do so whilst, almost constantly, pointing the finger south of the border is racist. Sadiq Khan, mayor of London, nailed it very eloquently, and was widely reported, for drawing the distinction between nationalism and racism in the context of the SNP's campaign for independence.
Promotion of nationalism, and exceptionalism, sometimes requires comparisons. Therein lies the danger, as its a fine line between actively highlighting the difference, and highlighting it respectfully. The truths in the exceptionalism must be definitive and objective. Some people do it well, as does Nicola Sturgeon more often than not, and some don't have the ability to achieve that - and hiding it behind a smilie doesn't achieve it.

In this thread Dft referred to UK which includes him, UK is not England, there was no racism. He also regularly has a pop at David MUndell, Ruth Davidson etc who are Scots but also Tories, is is not more likely DfTs sentiments are anti Westminster Tory than anti English?
There are several male posters on here who regularly post anti Scottish things but apparently that's ok, just a joke, double standards complaining, this is what causes tit for tat nonsense and trolling.
On topic some media outlets reporting only a quarter of UK citizens approved May's action on Syria, I don't know if she was right or not, but to question what happened or her opting not to consult more widely is not a bad thing, just a viewpoint.

What was interesting to me in Trump’s speech was when he said that “one day we may get along with Russia and even Iran. Maybe we won’tâ€. Boris said more or less the same thing to the Russians a couple of months ago. It seems the West feels it has done all it can with Russia and it’s time to walk away. When Boris said those things it seemed quite surprising but then we had Salisbury and all this afterwards. It makes me think things have happened (or not happened) in the background regarding Russian behaviour. Now the west just doesn’t think it can deal with Putin.
As for recalling Parliament, May shouldn’t have to. They should be working anyway. We are supposed to believe they do the most important job in Britain and yet they only sat 141 days last year. School children do more days. So here we are considering military action in a foreign land and we are wondering if we should get everyone back from their Jollies, even though Easter was two weeks ago. I am sure Trump and Macron would have been happy to wait. Meanwhile the rest of Britain continues to work its balls off.
And please don’t give me all that “working from home nonsenseâ€. If that’s OK I am moving to live on a golf course.

Government should make the decision on this matter without the need to consult parliament - parliament being the representation of the people? Is this decision more important than any other - that parliament - and hence the people - cannot be trusted to make the right decision? Because government alone knows the detail and background, and so is best positioned to make the decision on behalf of the country - and on behalf of 'the people' - because the people could not understand the intricate detail and the possible risks and outcomes.
Such difficult times knowing who should and shouldn't make decisions that could significantly affect our future, and knowing who is best to make them.
On this very specific matter with it's stated objectives of removing a specific 'weapon' from an 'individual' - if a decision is to be made I believe I find myself with the government.
