Last night at the range... it was flippin freezing so only hit 50 balls. took a few to loosen off then pretty much continued not too bad at all :)

pulled a few left, but i'm not going to worry about that as i'm sure that'll iron itself out once i'm playing more regularly again. bring on sunday and the 1st round of the year!

Its a nice feeling isnt it getting back into it?

I went to the range and hit a ball for the first time in 10 weeks last weekend and got my first round in nearly 12 weeks on Tuesday morning.

I was quite surprised to shoot a 91 on a course i've never played before too so was quite nice.

It doesnt take long to get the bug again :D

Was going to play 9 this afternoon, but the weather looks horrid.

I have been going down the range, but I find it hard to take my 'range form' onto the golf course. Hope to play 18 tomorrow morning, in preparation for Sundays grudge match.

I too went to the range yesterday and it took more than a couple to loosen up! With cold hands it wasn't pleasant. Meant to be a medal tomorrow but can't really see it being on as has been wet all last night and today. Fingers crossed i get some play in though as it's been far too long!

Heading to the range tonight and supposed to be playing tomorrow morning, weather dependent of course. Still, i'm excited to try out my new MD Superstrong hybrid that I picked up a few weeks ago.

Currently weeing down again. I guess that'll be the course closed again. At best it will be temps tomorrow, and I am not playing temps again. It is a waste of time. 14 5woods, 18 9 irons and then you might as well putt with the 9i too.

I am going to kill any man/ woman/ animal/ mineral/ vegetable that tells me our golf course is closed tomorrow with my bare hands. Even give me 18 temps, give me astro turf mats, give me dropping in the semi rough or even give me teeing up on the fairway....just give me some form of golf......please!! :p

Got out today but only 13 holes open. No temps and only mats on the par 3's. Looked like we were the only sould to brave the weather - the rain actually held off until we'd finished.
More than a bit rusty to begin with but scored 21 points for the 13 played - could have been worse!

Just nice to get back out on the course again....

I am so desperate to play that I would go out in a Biblical style storm. Remember the Priest who went for a quick knock in Caddyshack?? That'll be me tomorrow :D :D

I've just got back from the range after not swinging a club for 5 weeks and it wasn't great but used my G15 driver for the first time and its the first time I've had 5+ straight drives in my golfing career!!

I had my first round in 9 weeks booked this morning on The Montgomerie Course at Celtic Manor. Driving from Cardiff, the nearer I got the foggier it got, but I thought nothing of it.

I arrived to be told that noone had bothered going out, and when I hit some balls on the range and couldn't see my PW land I knew why. I stuck around for a while but it wouldn't budge.

Even more frustrating because as soon as I got down the hill and half way back to Cardiff it was clear as anything.

Till next weekend it is then...

Went to the range yesterday with CrapHacker, couldn't feel my toes after 30min. It was OK I guess, hit a few nice ones but mostly with HIS clubs :(

Robobum

This week I will mostly be.........

Actually I was going to play tomorrow but the weather looks iffy and the course will be flooded especially 15 and 16 which will either be closed (ideally) or on temps. I fancy a lie in, a trip to the range and then if it brightens up tomorrow afternoon a quick nine to get ready for the monthly stableford on Sunday. Being first out at 8.00 there won't be much light or time to hit too many to warm up
