Dad and myself and a casual round today to keep us awake from jet lag.

During the round I asked my dad to check my alignment and I'm glad I did. My feet are aiming way right of my intended target, around 20 yards or so from 150yards out from the green.

So when I aimed straight all my shots went left by about 20yards. Where do I go from here on the range to help correct my swing to suit my straighter alignment?

I can answer ball position easily, just forward of center for irons and just inside instep for driver. I will check shoulder alignment next time I practice.

Thanks for the quick response

Quite often when I go to the range I put a club down on the floor to check my allignment. I also do it occasionally when I'm out on my own on the course especially if I hit a bad shot and nobody is behind me. It's a good practice and it's amazing how little flaws can creep into your game

I like to think of the shoulders as the rudder of the swing. Check to see the relationship of your shoulders, hips and feet and see if they are all in alignment.
