MikeHs' post reminded me of a thread sometime ago, and after a little searching and investigation, I came up with this little number. V1.

It has a free version that allows you to draw lines all over your picture. Useful to see of all things, weight transfer, swing plane on the take away and on the downswing, head bobbing and spine angle. It was quite interesting to 'mess' around with it. Now I just need to work out what it all means.

I don't know if it' a limited free trial, but it's free at the moment.

There was an ad in one of the recent editions. I have it and for £10 I got the pro version which allows you to run split screen videos and gives you a list of pro players to compare your swing against.

I found it really useful especially a few weeks ago when I put my swings up for public consumption. I could go back and play them (in slow motion or frame by frame) and really see what people meant. I think its a good piece of kit.

Hapless, I think it's the best on the market.
I use the upgraded version all the time, which I seem to remember was about £40.
When you consider the Pro version is around £1000, £40 is a bargain.

Haplesshacker,

That was a great find and an even better posting, pointing the way for others to enjoy the benefit of the V1 software.

I have been following your thread from inception to final purchase of your new irons. I'm really pleased you went to the Mizuno fitting centre at Clays; I can't sing their praises loud enough. No pressure to purchase and an hour and a half of professional advice all for free.

I trust you'll be dusting the camcorder down this weekend and putting those MX 200's through their paces under the watchful eye of a camera lens for later video analysis on the excellent V1 software!

Give that man a medal.

What the heck am I on about?

Peterpumkineater needs congratulating for his purchase of new MX 200's, but Haplesshacker still requires a medal and knighthood for his video analysis software posting!

Thought I'd better set the record straight.
