The time is surely up for the man who left my own team in a hell of a plight before moving on to Boro where he decided to fill this team with even more shite than he managed at Celtic?

I predicted that he would be closer to taking Boro down that he would be takin them up and what's happening so far......6th from bottom after 9 games(higher than I actually thought he would have them)and this after spending a fair bit of coin do you think he'll be back to spewing his cheeky chappy crap on MOTD soon?

The man is up there with Wenger and O'Neill as one of the most overated gaffers in football IMO.

Still better placed than Leicester City. Terrible start for their new manager, cannot see him lasting long.

All very good Stato but you've won nothing in 5 years, maybe this year eh.

I think the signing of Chamak will make a difference because Bedtner is a donkey

Given there are only two meaningful trophies, it isn't that easy to win stuff. We were lucky to have an exceptional team 5 years ago, and punched well above our financial weight. Maybe, if the youth policy pays off, we will see those times again. The last five years have been dominated by the money bag big spenders. Look where that has got United, 750m in debt. I know who I'd rather manage Arsenal. I know the debt isn't Fergies fault, but he hasn't half spent some money. Money that Aresenal have never had.

Murph the brothers Gimp ladened Man Utd with that debt when they bought the club.At the end of the Man Utd are a bigger club simples. I think moving to the Emirates was a good desicion to get bigger crowds is it working tho ? i no at Man Utd that for the first time in years you can get tickets no problems at all.

At the end of the day Arsenal are the better footballing team but Man Utd are the stronger team

One thing I will say is on the level of overratedness Strachan has the edge over the French whinger.

I am still waiting for someone to tell me why sawtooth stopped at 2004/5......Jack Nicklaus was a fine golfer but to say he was still a great golfer during the 90's is as stupid as saying Whinger is still a great manager....he's won sweet FA for years too but is still lauded.

We are getting off topic here....is it time for Wee Chesney to pick up the P45?

Exactly right. It wasn't down to luck that you had an exceptional team 5 years ago though. It's because you've got an EXCEPTIONAL manager. How anyone can doubt Wenger is beyond me. Trophies or not though you have to admire the way Arsenal play the game.

I think Strachan is good at Championship level and Boro will finish top half and may have a late run at 6th and the play-offs. However I don't think he has the nous to manage at a higher level.

I think Wenger is brilliant at finding these talented youngsters and bringing them on but no-one before or since that United side of Beckham, Giggs etc have managed to gel a side full of youngsters. What Wenger has failed to do which Ferguson has always managed to do is get the balance of a side right so that if they play badly they can still grind results out. I don't think Wenger is overrated but probably just a little short in having a plan B

Yeah, yeah, you'd turn down Wenger managing one of your Mickey Mouse Scottish clubs or, heaven forbid, the Scottish national team??

I know you're on a wind up..

Saying Wenger is over rated is the same as saying that due to the poor performance of Scottish football over the last ten years they must be relegated to Semi Pro status..

Absurd

Wenger has lacked money for big transfer fees and wages. Not an Arsenal supporter, but i like the way he has brought in young players over the years, and developed them into top stars.

The Arsenal reserve team would finish top half of the Premiership.

Not many home grown players over the last five years getting in to the Man U, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea teams. All about money or lack of it in the case of Liverpool.

Too damm right that it is!!

We start the season as favourites, yet Wee Gordy has somehow managed to defy the odds and keept us down at the bottom of the table. At beginning of the season he sends our 2 left backs out on loan, and now were stuck with playing bloody Arca or Robson there !!! Square pegs in round holes seems to be Gordy's thinking.

Last season the excuse he gave for the performances was a lack of fitness, now he's got them fitter concentration is the problem. I think we all know what the problem is.

I would rather have another ex-Celtic manager to replace him in the form of Boro Legend Mowbray!

Got to go imo, letting southgate go was a massive mistake,of course hindsites a wonderfull thing but they were 3rd at the time.As for wenger and oneil top managers imo, oneil is a very good man manager and gets the best out of good players that are not great players.Wenger imo needs to change tact and add some experience to his great young players they are a great footballing side and are good going forward but defensively not strong enough.

Crap manager who's only capable of playing crap football badly. Gets himself a reputation by being an obnoxious little smartar$e when interviewed and some fools are glad to give him a job. Boro have no chance of going up with him in charge, hopefully they'll can him but Christmas, but their reputation for being loyal to managers could hold them back. Almost as bad as O'Neill, but at least he plays crap football to a slightly less crap standard.

LOL. So moving to a new stadium is a major hindrance to performance? I've heard a lot of shite from Arsenal supporters, but that's got to be the best yet.
