Supermoon... Anybody?

Nothing was to be seen here... Way too overcast... Vastly disappointed...

Periods of complete visibility for us. It looked like every other full moon as expected.

But it sent my 4 y/o daughter into complete meltdown because according to her nursery school she was going to be able to see Aiken Drum in the moon and she was pretty miffed to find he wasn't there. Thanks for that, nursery school.

Same as above. We got an okay view through the clouds but it was not exceptional. They built it up to a level where you expected it to take up half the sky.

To the naked eye it's indistinguishable from any other full moon.

The media'll lap anything up!

I was at the range last night and saw it intermittently between banks of cloud. Sizewise I didn't notice much difference but it was very bright, impressively so!

Fabulous here this morning at 5am. You could probably have played golf by the light of the silvery moon.

Funny to think that the last time it was this big was a few months before I was born.

Not a chance here in west Scotland yesterday, not surprised people are underwhelmed, that's what usually happens when the media start going on about something like that - unless it was like the moon in Bruce Almighty when he's got Rachel from friends all in a fluster, no-one is going to really notice a moon appearing just a few percent bigger.
