I used to be a member at Dudsbury, but let it lapse last year as I didn't get down there enough.

I've yet to take the plunge again, I'm not sure how much value I'd get. I'm really looking for a pay as you play membership, small joining fee & pay a reduced green fee as and when I play, but with full membership benefits, comps, handicaps etc.

The only places I know that do this are Hamptworth & Rushmore, they aren't exactly local.

I've got a mate who's a member of Ferndown, top course but I'd have to sell a kidney for the joining fee!

East Horton has 'Bronze' membership, offering exactly what you're after. About £60, reduced green fee (from £24 to £20), able to enter comps, a club h'cap, and extend booking.

Don't know if it helps. Maybe just a little to far for you, as it's near Fair Oak.

I played Dudsbury last summer, its a great course. Its only just down the road from work so we could have a smack round there when the evenings get lighter if you fancy it?

Do they do twighlight prices do you know?

I'm not sure if they have twilight deals but they take 2 4 1's at any time.
