Sun Mountain Micro Cart users - advice please

Having finally taken the plunge and ordered a new bag, I am wondering if I need to change trolley as well.

I currently have a Sun Mountain Micro Cart and the matching MCB bag, with the V shaped notch in the bottom that locates onto the plate. The new bag won't have the notch so it will be secured by nothing but gravity, the plate and the 2 side rails on the cart. Any Micro Cart users have this as a current arrangement? If so, does it work okay, or would you recommend a different trolley with a better support and security arrangement at the bottom? Thanks.

Have just bought a new Callaway cart bag to go on mine but alas not had chance to try it out yet, I'm going to take a bungee strap when i first go out in case of problems .
