don't know what happened then to computer,as i was posting going to morocco again this year (rabat) spain was getting too expensive and crowded same as portugal,the weather is fantastic and the courses superb and not to expensive at half the cost of spain,going for 5 days all inclusive and the tee times are pre booked,well worth a visit if you fancy a change from the norm.

I played the Monty (twice as it was my hotel's course) and the Gloria New ( along the road) Was in Belek for 10 days with litle one & missus so was happy with 3 rounds.
Fancy the Sultan, National, Sueno Pines and maybe the Glorai Old next year.

Smiffy, you will not be dissapointed. I was blown away last year. The courses are manicured. I played v.early each tme and was first on teh course...pure bliss.

July tour takes in Nefyn, Pwllelli and Royal St Davids then August holiday in Scotland i will play Askernish, Stornoway, Strathpeffer and Royal Dornoch.
Not going away this year. HID and I are consolidating and trying to save hard with a view to possibly moving house and upgrading in the next year or so. We'll take some days away together and long weekends instead. Hoping to use the recipricals the club has to get some free away day golfing. Got the forum meets to look forward too as well so it isn't all bad

Voyage Belek Golf & Spa resort. Supposed to be one of the best by all accounts.

Worked out a lot bloody dearer than I thought though. When they roped me in to going they said "fancy an all inclusive week playing golf in Turkey Rob, just over £700.00?" Jumped at it.
Once I had paid a healthy deposit they added "Oh that's plus the flight too, at just under £300.00".....
I kept that bit from the Missus

About 24 of us went there in Sept last year. Great course. The Barcello Montecastillo Hotel was good too, although food was average, but it was well worth the money. You'll enjoy it.

4 or 5 days in Ayrshire in Late May, courses still to be arranged.
Possibly 4 rounds in Norfolk in early August, unless I go to watch the reds on a North America tour. If they play Fenway park in Boston, I may hire a set and go and play Brookline (if they have repaired the greens since the American jig at the Ryder cup).
