Such an infuriating game!

So a weekend of mixed fortunes! Saturday in our summer stableford I score 16 points, didn't score on 8 holes and lost 6 balls, my driving was woeful - only hit 1 fairway, and the other 9 occasions i got the driver out of my bag I managed to just about clear the teeing area - and the weather was rubbish 40mph gales.

Sunday still very windy, but I needed to get out, and get rid of my driving demons, 1st tee, straight down the middle YES!. From that point on my game on Saturday to the Sunday were chalk cheese! I played 14 holes and walked off with a 72 which I sooo happy with.

Hopefully I can take Sundays form with me tonight for my 2nd round Rabbits knockout match! If I drive like Saturday though I can see me losing 10 and 8.

76 in the horrible weather (with 3 3 putts on the back 9) and then forced to replay on sunday with 80 shots in somewhat better weather!!

I had 36 points in the stableford in really strong winds and won and only got 28 in calm conditions on Sunday. Inconsistency is a blight in most of our games so I wouldn't read too much into it
