Self-explanatory thread title really.

For me:

1. Eating a Chinese meal on a Saturday night whilst watching Gladiators.

2. Summer holidays where I'd get the ZX Spectrum out the loft and spend days playing Euro Boss and other football manager games

3. Christmas Day. Rubbish now in comparison

4. Going into JJB/Sports Division to look at the footballs and football boots

5. Going out at 11am with your pals and not returning home until dinner time after 7 hours of non-stop football, wrestling matches and trying to set stuff on fire.

My mum and dad... although I'd get a clip for thinking them stupid.

My Johnny 7 gun.

No cares or responsibilities.

Long hot summers.

Jet.........hhhhmmmm!!! :smirk:

The Summer holidays and out with friends til late.

Chasing(hunting and harassing) that fit new girl at school.

Under 15's Sunday football league.

Being a massive Kriss Kross fan and trying to dress like them ;)

There are just too many to list...............................

Summer Holidays when the whole day was spent outdoors doing something or other.

Playing footie, cricket, tennis and skateboarding "out the front". So still want to do this but would feel a bit of a pratt!

Going to the Working Men's Club with my Dad and having a bottle of coke with a straw and packet of salt and vinegar crisps.

Being able to eat black jacks and fruit salads without fearing for my fillings...

Loads more too.

waking up on my birthday after having 11 teeth out ( got hit in face with a cricket bat in a school game ) and finding my mum had sold her jewelry and bought me a chopper bike, the smell of mum's baking on a saturday night as i watched the avengers, going to work with my dad when i was six and feeling all grown up,buying a tiny hovis loaf and taking out the insides and filling the void with potato puffs, getting sick after eating dozens of flying saucers and drinking fizzy pop,the list is endless.

Ha! You just reminded me of when my Dad took me into his golf clubhouse for a Coca Cola (I NEVER got fizzy juice). That was awesome!

Also, you missed out;

walking about normally then after you turned 12 walking with your arms folded across your chest.

Summer holidays spent at my grand parents in Florence and feeling the Italian sun on your back kicking a ball around the streets and going to see la viola play home games.

Wackaday!

Bacon sandwiches whilst watching stingray on a Saturday morning

Watching Pammy run along the beach on bay watch

Going on random long bike rides with my mates armed only with a rucksack filled with a bottle of fiz and a footy.

The original A-team, street hawk, knight rider and Gladiators because of Jet & Lightening

There's just so many things including trying to cop off with the fit Aussie girl at school & drinking at school discos

Sunday afternoon listening to the top 40 on the radio with a tape in recording all the songs so i could listen to them during the week on my walkman.

Waterfights with old washing up liquid bottles (no super soakers in my day)
Those cheap light plastic footballs with the names of football teams on the panels
Balsa wood gliders or if you were lucky the ones with elastic band driven propellors
Marbles
The Beano Annual and Summer special
Feeling rich with a ten bob note in my pocket
Climbing trees

Climbing trees
my mams meat and potato pie, veg and gravy
Our dog Prince, cross alsation, vicious with everyone but us!
light nights
Walking home from school singing Rush songs
