Stupid game

So yesterday I hacked around in 113 and lost about 6balls total mare even though I managed to bogey last 5holes in a row. First 9 I was just pulling my drive and having a complete mare and no control of pitches.
Then today I went out late afternoon and shot 1under my hc only thing to let me down was all the 3and 4 puts. Hit alot of GIR today...

I feel your pain buddy.as you said it can be a funny old game.when I have a bad round Ive almost gave the game up a few times.

Always something different every round even an absolute nightmare round can end with a half decent finish to keep you positive or a bad hole to finish can put the mockers on a great game.

With you on that one, playing yesterday I started with three bogeys before getting a par. The bad thoughts started there and then about how it was going to be... I shook myself down and took a step back, result was a 76 (Nett 64) after a string of pars, a birdie and just one last bogey at the 18th....
So it goes to show how much of that up and down can happen in one single round.

Had a pretty shocking day myself.

New course, stiff as a board from two days heavy lifting, and hit some good shots, but hit some right shockers too. Lost some balls in the process and putted like an utter dweeb.

Nevermind, there's always next weekend!
