Stromberg clothing

Decent stuff I think. I love the look of their trousers. Bit too rich for my tastes though.

Gave my Dunlop pinstripe trews a first run out on Saturday. easily the best £10 I've ever spent. Comfy, stylish and lightweight. Lovely job.

Yes I noticed the price of the Troo's while I was trying on the jacket. Not cheap!

As for the cost of the coat. Well I had the remainder of my birthday money, plus what I got for my old putter, so ended up costing me nothing :D

Ive got a couple of pairs of Stromberg trousers. Very good quality and fit. They wash well too, which is something the experimental pair of Dunlop troo's did not do..The Strombergs are second only to the Lindeberg trousers I avoid wearing due to the chance of mud getting on them...

I've yet to wash the Dunlops so we'll see how it goes! :D

Just be careful with them. After 1 wash, mine faded quite badly and also lost a lot of shape. This could have been caused by me washing them though. I have a "1 size fits all" approach to washing clothes.

I'm usually pretty good at washing stuff. I do all of the washing in our house (21st century bloke, don't you know), and it's usually *ok*. We'll see. If they go bad, they were only £12, so I won't be too upset.

Were yours the "posh" looking, synthetic ones with the split cuff at the bottom of the trouser? Or the chino-y ones?

They were the chino-y ones, without the turn ups though, I do have some standards. I only bought them for Winter muddy use, and at £8 they weren't exactly a big loss, but I was still a bit disappointed... Not to worry, eBay is my friend, and I picked up a couple of pairs of Adidas Climacool troo's for £35.. Muddy golf sorted..

:D The ones I have are the "premium" (lol) ones that feel like suit trousers in the material so hopefully they'll hold their shape/colour better than the chino-y ones. Time will tell. Won't be too upset if they don't.

I actually bought a pair yesterday in the sale at AG. One thing I will say, the trousers come up small, in Adidas, Nike etc I am a 32reg, I had to buy 34 in the stromberg...

I have four pairs of trousers, which are excellent quality. Got them in sales so not too expensive. My black ones with red trim do get a few Postman Pat jibes.:(

Based in this, I will not be buying any Stromberg trousers then. It would mean buying a 36, and I refuse to buy trousers that are labelled a 36 waist!

I have the same ones, and get exactly the same banter thrown at me.. I don't mind though. At least they fit well and they look great with black or red tee's..

Cheeky git, I'm a 36 as well. 34 in J Lindeberg, but 36 in Stromberg... This is also due to "chunky" legs from playing Rugby for too many years to be healthy....
