Your old man did pretty well!
Only a couple of the qualifiers made the cut, so to miss by only 2 was commendable. Plenty of 'carded' players missed it too! Ross Drummond shot the same score as many of the top qualifiers, including a mate of mine who shot level in it.

Two sets of results - Qualifying and Main event
My mate shot Level in the Qualifier and +9 in the Main Event (same as Ross Drummond). Steve Craig (presumably, as that's the only Scottish Steve in main event and he shot +1 in Qualifier - though I may be wrong) shot +6 in Main event to miss the cut (yes +4) by 2.

the results show a Steve Craig shooting two rounds (159 )and the cut being at +3 (149 )

Cheers FH, he did really well and played a blinder on Friday despite the wind that got up really bad. Thursday we had the worst possible luck with a ball getting stuck in a tree (found on 5min 21 secs) and had to take the provisional. Those two shots were bloody costly.
It was a great event again this year and a great field. Long drive back up with him in a mood though thinking about that tree :whoo:
Went down there today looking for a caddying job, saw Barry Lane and Paul Curry firing arrows on the range and nodded to Gary Wolstenholme, also watched some of the qualifyers, there was some very good golf being played today you father did very well if he gets through.Ive got to ring the caddymaster tomorrow when the fields sorted to be allocated a bag.Looking forward to it
