Get your name down guys if you want to caddy on this European Tour Event that starts next Thursday at The Stoke By Nayland club in Essex with the pro-am on Thur 5th and the event Fri 6th-Sunday 8th June, ive done this event a couple of times and they are always looking for caddies here which has an impressive Seniors field this year http://www.europeantour.com/seniortour/season=2014/tournamentid=2014842/teetimes/index.html
Obviously the top players will have their own guys but theres plenty of foreign players needing caddies.Expect around £25 a day and zero prize money but thats not the point, the point is that your inside the ropes on a European Tour Event with some legends of the game.

Why would you do it for £25 with no cut of winnings? Always agreed a deal in the past before teeing off in the past.....
Its not like that with a one off caddying job, they pay you for the day but you aint going to get a cut of the winnings, its not pro caddying. And why do it cos your there inside the ropes and its the only way your going to get there!

surprised they are that cheap, caddies get more carrying a punters bag round a resort course.

I assume all they want is a bag carrier and not proper caddying?

They certainly wont take advice from a part time caddy so yes its a bag carrying role but expect your player to test you from time to time. £25 seems to be the general figure for the day but it depends who you caddy for, ive been paid £80 a day from an ex US tour player but ive seen others try and fob the caddy off with a sleeve of balls!.

The old man in contention to qualify at the minute after a +1 round.
Squeaky bum time now as 24 still to come in. T9 with 26 spots available.
Went down there today looking for a caddying job, saw Barry Lane and Paul Curry firing arrows on the range and nodded to Gary Wolstenholme, also watched some of the qualifyers, there was some very good golf being played today you father did very well if he gets through.Ive got to ring the caddymaster tomorrow when the fields sorted to be allocated a bag.Looking forward to it :)

If you were down early you might have seen him. He was out at 0903.

I was there a bit later Greig, one of the marshalls was telling me that there was a huge field trying to Qualify, your father did very well
plus 3 (1 over for each round) for the tournament last time it was at Stoke By Nayland would have been a top 45 finish.
