Stiff iron shafts vs Regular

Just a wild stab in the dark..... have you checked your swing?
Have a lesson and hit both clubs and explain to the pro what you want.
You never know, it may not be the shaft that's the problem.
Having said that, I would lean towards the wilsons in the stiff shaft.

I believe the shaft plays a MAJOR part if whether you can hit a club well or not ie my mates hybrid balloons like a wedge, whippy shaft, mine has good launch but if he tries mine it usually thins about 160 yds.

Havent worked with a pro as of yet...Just the few issues that you highlighted for me ...

Here's what iv figured out myself...

Had the left to rights bad at the start like most but seemed to nail it down to a fade with a neutral address position and 2 knuckles showing on the grip.

I was still steep into the ball and took big divots that started out to the left...

Over the past 6 weeks iv strengthened the grip slightly to 3 knuckles but it feels comfortable and iv got my weight spread much better at address so much so that im taking divots that are alot shallower and a little straighter.

Ball flight now is straightish or right to left but i still leave the odd one out to the right with the driver woods and long irons...

A bad shot now is a low pull hook or a high hook but they are far fewer than the issues i was having with the left to right flight....Its taking me a little more time to trust where the ball is going now as before i was aiming parallel left of my target to allow for the old flight...

Im guessing that my swing is relying more on timing now to square the face and if my hands get over active through the ball then thats where the hooks are coming from but if im a little late then the face is open and the ball is out left to right.....

Or am i way off the radar?
