Afternoon all.

I'm considering buying the Stewart waterproof stand bag. I really want a waterproof bag and I like the Sun Mountain stuff but they're too expensive right now.

Can any owners give me their opinion on it please?

I'm interested to know how you rate it, what you particularly like/dislike about it.

My initial concerns would be durability, weight and the dividers (are they sufficient or prone to a bit of tangling).

Can't find one in my local area to see for myself so any info would be great.

Many thanks.

Cant comment on the Stewart bag but a possible alternative - Jamgolf had last years Callaway Aqua Dry bag in the marketplace for I think £80 recently which may be a decent option. Their marketplace seems to be temporarily missing but may be worth checking their in a few days if not in a huge rush

I've got a Stewart waterproof stand bag:
It's the red and black one
Pros':

waterproof!!
Light
Lots of pockets with decent room
Looks good

Cons:
The zips sometimes stick
The zips sometimes come out of the "track" meaning when the zip is closed, the pocket is open lower down ( it's a pain to reset this)
There's a couple of hard sticky out bits that hide the zip when it's closed, and these are right where the bag rests against your hip ( could probably stick something on it to pad it out)
Clubs don't push down easily and you end up fighting them else they stick out a lot.

On the whole, I really like mine and have been carrying all year so far (trying to get a bit fitter) and even in the worst rain we've had the contents have stayed dry.

Thanks guys for your comments.

Fundy, I'll have a look on their outlet section.

Rickg, appreciate your pointers. One question.... if need be, would you buy another one in the future?

I've got a Titleist waterproof stand bag:
It's the black one
Pros':

waterproof!!
Light
Adequate pockets with decent room
Looks very good
The zips never stick
The zips never come out of the "track"
There's no hard sticky out bits where the bag rests against your hip
Clubs push down very easily and you never end up fighting them (extra large club well)

On the whole, I love mine and have been carrying all winter so far (trying to get a bit fitter) and even in the worst rain we've had the contents have stayed dry.
If only you'd gone for the sta dry/h2no your cons would be ziltcho...
And why have the skoda of golf bags, when the bugatti is only a little more expensive?!

cracking bag tbh, looks great and I found it very comfy to carry. Still looking for another bargain one on ebay but keep missing out and this black/red is out of stock on stewart golf webby.

I wouldn't be without mine, great carry bag plus I would buy another in a shot if needed. As for the zips they are stiffer than most because they are waterproof it is a small price to pay for not having to worry about everything you own getting soaked like my old Ping bag. Just get one, go to their own site they are on sale. I believe if you ring them direct you may be able to haggle too.

When I carry a bag in the wet, the straps get wet. It means my shoulders get wet if I take the waterproofs off later in the round. I assume this is an inherent issue with all bags including the waterproof models and they will still gather the water
