Steptoe,fools & horses and Porridge are all comedy gold.

Agreed. Although, there are some good ones.
I'd throw in Alf Garnet as well, Open All Hours has its moments too.
'arald having to pretend he was his sister after old man Steptoe (Alfred?) got pinched claiming the social for his dead wife and non existent daughter was a classic. So too was the funeral episode.

Good shout. Rising Damp and Porridge had their moments. Still Game and early Rab C. are the only newer ones worth watching now.

I'm a big fan of Partridge A-Ha!!!!
Harry H Corbett was a fantastic actor, shame the Steptoe ruined his career in his opinion.
