That's what I did for mine. Big bunkhouse near Aberfeldy and a Transit van full of booze.

Being miles from anywhere meant that we wouldn't annoy anyone and no one would get arrested ;)
 
We always go to Amsterdam, been for just about all my buddy's, myself included. We usually get an apartment in the red light district and get plastered from then on. I love the place, its a real devils playground. Dont think I will go into too much detail but a good time is had by all!!!!:cheers::whoo:
 
I have lost count of the number of times I’ve been to Amsterdam. My visits have been business trips (No! not that kind of business). It’s a great city with much more to it than just the red light district. It’s a shame the great city is mostly famous for its red light area and coffee shops, I know the city council are trying to change all that. I usually try to avoid the weekends, because of the stag parties.

Also been to Prague on business, just the once. At least in Amsterdam the prostitutes are behind the windows and not following you and pestering you on the streets, as they did in Prague
 
I'vve been on a few boys weekend away, prague, amsterdam and riga but the one that stands out for me was Poznan- poland.

What made it stand out- there was very few english people on the flght on a stag do. infact only saw one other group of lads on a stag do and they were polish.
There are a lot of gentlemen friendly places where the bouncers are on the door to fleeece you on the way out (cough riga cough).
There are some super clubs out there and it was dirt cheap. not quite as cheap as Prague but near enough.

If you want somewhere where not tooo many people go and is a bit orginal than i cannot recommend it enough.
or failing anything else go on the Circle line pub crawl or teh Monopoly Pub crawl in fancy dress. Start at ten in teh morning then carry through till you drop.........

I mate from University whos dad was some sort of diplomat made him have his stag there, dullest place in the world, everywhere shut at 10pm.

You were in the wrong bit of Brussels then Patrick. When I went there a few years ago I ended up trashed and got back to the hotel at god knows what time most nights. My favourite bar in the world is in Brussels, Le Cerceuil just off the Grand Place.

Disclaimer: Don't go into this bar if you don't like gothic/heavy metal music, coffins for tables or drinking out of skulls.
 
I went on a crackign stag weekend in Newquay Cornwall in September. Two nights in a surfers hostel, two surf lessons, all in for about £80. Great value. The surf lessons were a great way to clear hangovers and build up a thirst for the night ahead.

Newquay is a bit of a meat market obviously, but there are plenty other places where you could go to surf and have a night out maybe Rock, or even Croyde in Devon is nice.

I went in 89 so could have changed.

Went to Dublin on one and can't remember anthing from getting the train to the airport on the way.
its was like my memory was wiped:)
 
Best stag do I was ever to was in Nuremburg. Cheap flights and hostel accomodation for about 20 euro a night. Fantastic beer loads to see and very good night life. There were also a lot of German hen parties on the go and they have some strange traditions like selling complete strangers shots, which is a great ice breaker for a crackin night. Oh and we managed to get thrown out of a karaoke bar for singing. I'm still trying to figure that one out.
 
Went on two last year, one in newcastle, did a tour of st James park ( stag is a fan) then booked a outside 7 a side footy pitch and played for a few hours. In the evening we had dinner and a private room in a casino for a Texas Holdem tournament. Then the usual...

Then I organised one in Leeds, we went to headingley to watch England play Sri Lanka in the cricket, then attempted the otley run/mile. Day 2 we did activities, paintball, followed by zorbing then off road buggies, was fantastic! But as a stag or a best man, DO NOT DO PAINTBALL! They will organise a stag hunt or similar and you will get messed up, and it hurts! I had my head split open by a paintball!! Great Craic though, then we went on to a private table o watch the haye vs klitchko fight, followed by VIP in a club... My liver took about 3 weeks to recover from that one!!!

Potato/potatoe, it's all cornwall to me! Lovely part of the world, and managed 18 holes at the west Cornwall gc which was awesome, the views were amazing!
