Nice scene except for the buildings. I presume there are restrictions on what 'improvements' can be made.

How dare you! That's our magnificently refurbished clubhouse. The roof alone cost about £150,000. We had plans to spend £700,000 on a new building. If we had gone ahead with that we'd be bankrupt by now.
Its not changed since I was a member there in 89/90...

Sensible thing not to grossly overspend then! No idea how well the interior has been finished and the roof certainly looks the best feature, but £150k? Must have needed some serious rebuilding!
The course is always the priority for me though, as long as the facilities are tolerable and serviceable. Unless the clubhouse is also going to be used for things like Weddings etc.

It was either spend that or let it fall down. It's OK, serves its purpose. Like you say, it's the course that counts and it's one of the best in the county, especially during the winter.

in a newbie view, I think its nice. I always play with my dad in the backyard. Hopefully, I can show my skill in a real clubhouse asap
