I'm after an old black Newport 2. With the intention of sending it off to be custom shopped at some point.

Problem is they are pretty old and I can't send off a fake. Anyone know of any got sources to get a legitimate one?

Know what your looking for and use eBay to get it or pay a little more and get from golfbidder.
Although before you make the efforts, check out the costs it may work out to be a minimal save than buying directly from SC with a full custom job when you take into account all the postage costs etc..

Does it have to be a black one?
There's one in our shop, silver.

Ideally, It's the putter I always wanted but I could never afford when it came out.
Although looking at it, i can get the black finish added when custom shopped, so not the end of the world. A genuine putter is the priority.

I would look for an old Scotty, perhaps the first gen stainless model. A black version will always be hard to keep the finish looking good.

Latest ones are not the same being more mass produced.
