I have seen a similar sounding occurrence on a golf course and that was definitely badgers so thats where I would put my money / traps ;)

eagle....d'you put money in your traps? I find a bit of peanut butter works well for most critters.

Yea but Dave with the credit crunch these animals are becoming more wary of the pennies so that when us lot are broke they can take over. ;) the money would be far more attractive than peanut butter.

just for clarification I was referring to the club investing in badger traps, as opposed to some other form of trap. And the money reference was a sort of 'I bet it is badgers' sort of thing. :D

traps, bait? not terribly pc! and the judge would throw the case out on the grounds of enticement.

no, it all has to be sorted by mutual agreement arrived at after hours of earnest discussion, recrimination, and fact finding trips to the bahamas.

I should have known this would degenerate into mayhem.....

Cmon fellas, its our last Medal tomorrow, and even without these newly dug up hazards the course is tight enough to negotiate around !!

Oops, I meant saturday :)

Apparently, its Crows/Ravens doing the damage !! Rooting for leatherjackets so I'm told, and clearly seen by groundsatff.
Must be driving tractors as far as I am concerned cos there are about 6/7 patches all over the course, that really do look as though Wild Boar's have been ripping the turf up, now all marked as GUR thankfully.

Hard to believe, but there ya go !
