Something for the weekend sir?!

With the Bank Holiday almost here thoughts turn to having a good, long weekend break and filling it with something a bit special.

Today sees us going down to Lincolnshire through till Saturday - something very special is happening. Then its off to Sheffield on Saturday to see the mighty Boro beat Sheff Wed. Sunday is the Medal final, and then an Open on Monday.

Oh, and the something very special.... number 2 daughter's wedding. PARTY!!:cheers: and I will be suitably attired

Not a Bank Holiday where I live, we have to wait for the Ayr Gold Cup for that.

Unlike England, Scotland has 'local' Bank Holidays, worth remembering if you want to get good rates for a weekend away.[eg this weekend]

Off work next week and HID spending a few days down in the Lewes area taking it easy, hitting the antiques fairs and generally enjoying not being at work. Just need to win the golf comp over the bank holiday to set it off perfectly

Achieved, failed and failed!

Had a fantastic day! Was merry by 9pm, and very giddy by the time I went to bed at midnight. Shocked a few people by shaking out some great moves on the dance floor.

The speech drew some roars of laughter, and suitably embarrassed the daughter.
