Have to say, I've been getting in touch with a few local courses and some are putting on some very good deals. Yes, it's winter golf and the course won't be at it's best but the one offer that's stood out locally for me and one we'll be doing in the next month or so is a deal at Goswick, 4 ball £80 to include bacon butty and a coffee... only question is are the bacon buttys any good there ;)

Anyone else found any good winter deals?

The bacon butties are great eh Dave? :D

Thats pretty good value for a good track, there are some cracking deals to be had over here too in the winter.

Actually looking at Ireland in late Feb early March as it's mine and the missus' 40th and our wedding anniversary falls in there too... looking for a spa/golf hotel and have been surprised at some of the deals, it's the spa side that puts the price through the roof :)

Kilmarnock Barassie, £100 for a fourball Sunday to Friday.

Dundonald £40 a round or £60 for 2 rounds with soup and sandwich lunch!

Millport £10 a round.

Yeah, it looks like all my time at the gym has only worked against me on the golf course. I am always still in a rush to get to the bar though..

We have a deal in the north east paper the P&J for £10 per person, twice a year usually for about 25 courses in and around the north of scotland.

FJ,where do you play yourself? Is it a wet course through the winter?

Links is where winter golf is at,and summer:o,but there are many great deal to be had on links throughout Scotland.....even the premier courses do some crackers.
