Hi All,
My buddy and I played 18 holes before the snow on Saturday and it was just silly, no way to land a ball on the green even when chipping from just off the edge, however the greens were not bad to put on, quite true.
The fun part however was the driving, all you had to do was get the ball off the tee straight and there were very few yards left to play to the green. it really was a case of driver and wedges.
On 15(downhill uphill par 4) my buddy and I were level and he let rip a drive that saw him easily as long as I had been the week before. I stepped up and crushed one down the hill, it looked like it had hit the upslope to the green and got down, it did not, it took a huge leap and finished 10 foot from the edge of the green. A lucky putt(yes I putted through the rough/fairway to the hole for a tap in birdie. I would so love to play power golf like that every week!! with some soft greens though please...

I won the hole and as always seems to be the case when I play this guy, it proved to be the hole I needed to win to seal the victory!
Yes it was proper cold out there!! But lots of fun!
