...and the flour gets everywhere including yer grips, floury baps are the devils food....

Be careful of those 'made for' breads, they are often rather soft flex and badly made and crumby. Tour issue is the way to go for the more demanding halfway hutter.
Tiger bread is the King of breads
Smiffy, Forget the gallery of the course on the website, A Gallery of the clubhouse food should be a priority. Bacon Rolls, Burgers should be exactly how they serve them, Not like Mcdonalds with the fake pics!I cannot stand floured soft baps and think that golf courses that serve them should mention it on their websites.

Our club serves the bacon in cut up French stick, lovely.
Absolutely right. I hate it when you see an advert for something nice and tasty, whether it's on the telly or in a magazine ad and when you actually buy the product it looks nothing like the item you saw.
I am now only going to play golf courses where they serve up crusty bread rolls (or at least give you the choice).
I am seriously annoyed about this.
We had floury bacon baps at West Hill last week. I took two bites and gave it away. If that had been a crusty roll, and I had eaten it all, I reckon I would have had a lot more than 19 points due to my increased energy levels.
I reckon West Hill have got a lot to answer for.
is it soft? perfect!
There is only one answer - The Scottish Morning Roll

Works with bacon, burgers and jam. Not all at the same time though.
Is that man vs food the three plates??

All I want is a nice, tasty, beefy burger in a really crusty roll with a pile of fried onions on top. That's all. No ketchup, no fries, no nothing.
Just me, bread, burger, onion & grease.
I would score 40 points plus off of the back of that.
You've caught the sun too much
