Does she like you?

She's never voluntarily spoken to us in the 15 years they've been living here. We'e tried on numerous occasions but only got a grunt in reply so we now don't bother. What grates is that she is a nurse and shouldn't be anywhere near the place at the moment.

The point is, if you use your healing super power to save everyone then the world becomes over populated. We need a balance between births and deaths and if everyone lives beyond a certain age then we will start to be in more trouble than we are now. If we accept that we have to die then the next choice, if you have the healing power, is when do you stop healing someone? The world can't cope with a super expanding population, we are discovering the problems with that already.

If you have the power to save everyone then the pressure to keep doing so would be quite overwhelming. On the surface it sounds fabulous but it could become a burden. (Bit of a heavy one this)
