there doesn't seem to be a effective(english) way of spelling the word used for describing 90% of the garbage at a boot fair or most of the contents of a pound shop.

Tut?- nope
Toot?- nope

The nearest I can get is Tuut ot Tutt but they down seem right either.

You can blame Danny Baker on Radio London for that one :(

Table Tennis was banned in the Former Soviet Union between 1930 to 1950 because it was believed to be harmful to the eyes.

What does ''Janner'' mean? I rememember a guy from South Wales using it to refer to a Bristol chap whose guts he hated.

just the same as someone from glasgow is called jimmy.
Sometimes forget that not everyone understands
A shilling was that not 2groats or if persistant absentee 4groats ie a full shilling?
