there doesn't seem to be a effective(english) way of spelling the word used for describing 90% of the garbage at a boot fair or most of the contents of a pound shop.

The nearest I can get is Tuut ot Tutt but they down seem right either.

What does ''Janner'' mean? I rememember a guy from South Wales using it to refer to a Bristol chap whose guts he hated.

In the navy (merchant and RN) anyone from d'v'n or corrnwaal was a janner' therefore not Brissel. It was no more derogatory than calling someone named smith, smudge or a druid, taffy.
