Snapped My Driver!!!!!!

I'd be embarrassed to admit that. Actually I'm not surprised your boasting considering you had the brass neck to chance it.

Poor show.

Where have I been boasting? Someone asked a question and I answered. I could have been posting all sorts about a new driver! I chanced my arm it worked where's the problem, people break clubs and get them replaced all the time. We as golfers spend millions of pounds with these companies I don't see a problem getting a little back every now and again.

Same happened to my G15 last Monday, went for an iron fitting on Tues and Pro reshafted it (not Ping shaft) had 1/2" taken off and have been booming it down the middle today, felt like I was in control of it more.

Another one!!

Can I ask what shaft you went for how it compares to the stock ping shaft and if you don't mind how much you paid to get it fitted

Hi Peaty, I got a Pershing 65 regular, feels a lot better than the stock shaft and I paid £45 for the shaft and fitting, don't know where you are but I had mine done just east of Norwich at Cris Pottens, well worth a visit. Just to clear up a point, when I said booming it down the middle I was about 210-220 which for me is booming it lol:)

A bit concerned now... I have just treated myself to a new [s/hand] G10 driver from the 'bay... Certainly don't want to be worried every time I swing it that the head is going to part company from the shaft...

I'm pretty certain 99% of the people who have Ping drivers and irons never have an issue with heads coming off or shafts snapping and I am certain none of the manufacturers really scrimp on adhesive and components.
