I turned up to a course last year wearing my club poloshirt, but was asked to remove it as I wasn't playing a match and if the committee saw me they might feel i was 'trying to poach membership' ... I was 100 miles from my home course!

Ha ha, that is one of the most ridiculous things I have read on here (says a lot!) - I would have got me moobs out in protest!

I have a branded RBS poloshirt that has The Open Championship Claret Jug embroidered on it, but that's not an issue, even though its 'sponsored'.

Trying to work out which club it will be in the 100 mile radius of Pumphy.....
