I have a pair of spikeless Eccos, as others have said, they have a really thick tread on them compared to most spikeless shoes which just have the little pimples. I have just bought some new Eccos with spikes as well though, just as another option for the wettest most slippery days of winter. I should be sound with those two.

I remember a round several years ago, where I'd played really well on the front nine, then halfway down the 9th I fully slipped on my arse in the mud, both feet went from under me. My legs and back totally caked in mud - played absolutely horrendously on the back nine after that! I don't recall what shoes I was wearing though. Not sure it mattered!
