Ok My Sky caddie 2.5 developed a leak and the service from Sky caddie was pretty poor as they wanted £70 to replace with a refurbished model

I am now looking at either of the 2 models above and I do not want anything too complicated. My present Sky caddie subscription has 20 months left so the £30 is not a major problems.

Any thoughts please on which is prefwerable; I am not too technical.

Many thanks

Got a Skycaddie 2.5 that's just sitting in the drawer - the subs are due for the 3rd time and I'm fed up of coughing up for them every year. Been to the club this lunchtime to book a Bushnell to try out in tomorrow's comp.

If you are open to suggestion, then go for a Garmin G6... no subscription nonsense. However about £275 if u haggle with DG or AG.

How is the scoring on the G6 does it have stableford and multiplayer scoring?

Yup does upto 4 players and has multiple formats; stoke play, matchply, stford. You can set local handicap for each player before each game. You can review the scores mid game (though the navigation for this needs getting used to). You can also measure how far you hit for each club (good bragging rights)
