Anyone got a spare one for sale as mine is buggered,aint charging at all.Thought it was my unit at 1st but after trying my Fathers it is the charger that is goosed.

Can't rely on nicking his all the time so on the look out for a new one....seen a few cheap ones on ebay 'made' in Hong Kong but not sure if they would be trusted...

Can't help I'm afraid but you don't need to worry about borrowing one. Just plugging it into the usb on your PC will charge it up. Unless of course it's your cable that's broken.

Dodger, my missus got an ipod touch from me for Xmas. I spent some time trying to find a "plug" that adapted from mains to usb. The apple ones were £23 or something silly.

If you have the usb cable, would something like this enable you to charge it without doing it off a usb port on your pc/laptop?

I use one of those for everything that usually charges from a usb and so far it has worked perfectly with all my items no probs.Well worth having.

Dodger - get a cheap'n'cheerful Motorola V3 mobile phone charger. It's exactly the same - I use the car charger all the time. Got mine for a fiver from the local mobile accessories place. Genuine SC one is extortionate.

I've bought a cheapy from ebay for my phone, SG5, Sony e reader, Ipod, etc. Never had a problem. I like to have two chargers for everything, one at work, and one at home. Not willing to pay silly money, so buy cheap on ebay. Tend to look for one that looks ok (some look dead cheap). No fires, no dead appliances.

Thanks guys...I had no idea I can charge it thro my usb and my pc!!

Just plugged it in and off it's went....wonderful!
