OK - first hurdle to overcome is that I need either a Mastercard or Visa credit card to activate my plan and therefore handset. It wont accept Switch/Maestro. I appreciate that I may well be in the minority by not having a credit card, but this is a nonsense. My new bank card is due to arrive anytime soon and fortunately it is going to be a Visa/Maestro card, so hopefully that will work. Until then, the Skycaddie will have to remain in its box.
