Not being hooked up to Sky i'm more than a little disappointed at the cut in the BBC coverage for this years Masters. Interested to know how many of the Sky subscribers would swap over to the BBC if both were on at the same time!
(lucky sods - best of both worlds)

Poor show that Sam Torrance has been bumped (i just hope that the BBC don't discover a few extra coffers and try and obtain good old Sir Nick Faldos unique brand of commentating for the B.Open to replace Sam - highly unlikely thankfully)

I will primarily be watching Sky's coverage in HD unless there's an advert, in which case I'll flick over to BBC.

For the times I can't watch it live, I'll be recording the Sky Broadcast and fast forwarding through the adverts.

Sky's coverage (adverts notwithstanding) is vastly superior to the Beeb's which has been significantly weaker in recent years.

In what way would you say the Sky coverage is better?

The Commentary, presenters (Hazel Irvine? Gary Lineker? Really?), the fact they're showing the Par 3 tournament.

I used to love the Beeb's coverage, but the last few years it's been awful with the exception of Ken on the Course.

sky's coverage is in a different league to the BBC (although I do have a long standing affinity for the Beeb).

the expert punditry of he likes of Roe, Pugh and Holmes, all of whom are highly knowledgeable, well connected, still involved with the game and work well in from of the camera leaves the BBC conversations lead by Linekar looking a little ridicuous.

I plan to only watch on Sky when the Beeb isnt showing it. I dont mind Allis, just cant stand Tottance (gone thank goodness) and Lineker (hopefully he'll just be doing intros and such). But if the Beeb start interviewing everyone I shall switch to Sky.

Sky for me.As usual when they do something they do it right....par 3 tourney, lots of red button options, good tea with Pugh,Roe,Howell compared to BBC.I do like Grady, though, and Ken on the course is brilliant.

My pal has a 3D TV too, looking forward to checking that out.

If the Masters 3D picture is anything like the football coverage, you're in for a treat. It will look stunning!

I thought Linekar had been dropped by the BBC last year.

Coverage throughout the week will be presented by Hazel Irvine with commentary from Peter Alliss, Ken Brown, Andrew Cotter and Wayne Grady. Mark Pougatch will be reporting.

BBC Radio 5 live and 5 live sports extra will have extensive live commentary, hosted by BBC Radio 2 and One Show presenter Chris Evans with Iain Carter leading the commentary team, alongside John Murray and Alistair Bruce-Ball.

Expert analysis will be provided by former European and PGA Tour player Jay Townsend and former PGA Tour winner and seven-time Masters player Andrew Magee.

The BBC Sport website will host the popular live text commentary service throughout the four days along with reports, reaction, photos, blogs and tweets from the team in Augusta.

I just got sky HD the other day and the golf looks amazing on it so unless the BBC have it in HD i'll be watching it on sky.
