There is nobody I can think of who is currebtly on Sky Sports books who is capable of replacing them.

well there's an advantage. they could actually get someone capable of doing the job.

Who though ? Can't see people running up to take the job on especially after what has just happened. My guess is they will shove anybody in place for a while till the heat dies down then assess matters.

I would expect that with the money that sky offer there will be plenty of folk interested in taking the job.

I am delighted he has gone couldn't stand him going on and on about the EPL being the best league in the world!

What about Ian Wright and Alan Brazil. Two guys with a wealth of knowledge and wicked sense of humour!

It certainly needs two characters to fill such a high profile role IMHO.

Got to be somebody out of work or doing radio jobs to take the job on I reckon. Because last night's offering on the Bolton v Chelsea game was piss poor to put it mildly. Jamie Redknapp do me a favour and the " kid" hosting the show looked totally out of his depth.

With regards to him going on about the EPL being the best in the world then there is only 2 options anyway either the EPL or La Liga in Spain.

Ian Wright and Alan Brazil agree both would be good but both are as Mad as Hatters don't think they stand a chance to be honest. They will go with a PC appointment

Just seen it on Sky Sports that Andy Gray has left Sky Sports do not know if he has been sacked or resigned. Sure Keys will follow as well now as the pair of them are very chummy. Pathetic that somebody can lose a job over this for stuff that was off air another example of the nanny state this Country has become if you ask me. They will be a tough act to follow as well I think. There is nobody I can think of who is currebtly on Sky Sports books who is capable of replacing them.

Hardly the nanny state really. The first rule of broadcasting is that you always treat the microphone as live. They got complacent, made a stupid mistake and forgot that.

There's no way Sky could let them get away without some punishment and after more "revelations" this morning about Andy Gray, he was a dead man walking.

I know that what they said will probably be agreed with by vast numbers of people up and down the country but you just cannot say things like that as a broadcaster and not expect consequences.

After ITV sacked Big Ron for using racist language, there was just no way Sky permit themselves to be seen to condone sexist language.

In some ways a bit of a shame as their commentaries have raised the standard over the years but I think it was probably time for a change anyway.

It was not just what they said, but the way they said it. Not a couple of blokes having some banter and a laugh. They were deadly serious, and it never crossed their minds that she may actual be good at her job. Couple of old fossils that will not be missed.

Crazy, utterly crazy that he has or indeed should have lost his job over this, alright he's a sleazy man but so what, there are plenty of sleazy acting women out there in jobs, just tune into ITV though the week......Amazing how when a man passes comment on a females 'inadequacies' it's perceived as sexist and hugely offensive. Yet when you see this particular programme in the frame of Loose Women, it's funny and light-hearted.

Where do you draw the line,do the camera men that focus on pretty lady's in a crowd deserve to be hauled over the coles and lose their jobs?

Utter madness, free speech and opinions are, as we all know, frowned upon....why is this?

It'll feel strange to watch Super Sunday without Andy Gray's, lets be honest, very good analysis and punditry. OK, at times he can talk sh1te, but Martin Tyler, alongside himself were a fantastic team. And of course, this is going to mean we hear more of Jamie Redknapp, and other goons like Dwight Yorke, pundits, who really are annoying.

Sky sports won't be the same, or as good, without Andy Gray.

So Andy Gray is sacked, let's move on and get some chicks in to do that job. Preferably ones with big tits.

You are Richard Keys and I claim my £5.

I think the cameraman who said she was good-looking should be sacked. His eyesight clearly isn't up to much which is quite worrying for a cameraman.

How is, what they said, anything but sexist??? :D

Loose Women - the TV programme is an absolute abomination and should be removed from the schedule post haste!!!

No such thing as freedom of speech anymore. There are far too many employment laws that stop that.

For some reason, the only people the employ as pundits are the most unpopular ex pros. I think Gareth Southgate is an excellent pundit. I also thought Big Sam was rather insightful last night. I'd also love to hear Cantona as a pundit. Andy Gray did a programme with him many years ago and he said that his footballing knowledge was second to none.

Gray's got sex pest history, plus he's taking the NotW to court so I reckon Rupert used this as the perfect excuse.

I've cancelled my SKY Sports subscription anyway.
