Sky Sports in your club.

my pal runs a pub, and i think he says sky charge by how much income the pub brings in!!!!!!!! he cancelled it and saved 15 grand. and his takings are not down. although last years old firm game was in arabic.

Ours was just around 2500 when we had it. But then sky upped it to over 3000 so we pulled out.

We only have the basic package so have SkySports News on which is fine with me for a bit of background. Could never really enjoy it if we had the full package anyway as our course is only accessible off the A1 and no way I would risk a beer then driving on such a main road.

We've got sky sports at our club and most saturdays and sundays the clubhouse is busy regardless of what games are on. I wouldn't like us not to have it to be honest.

Used to have it but he's a bit tight (not that the fees aren't steep) and now the clubhouse is often more empty than it used to be.

I know we would quite often time a 9 or 18 to finish in time for a kick-off so we could eat, drink and watch together. That's all lost revenue now.

Two great big screens hanging up and now they're hardly ever on.
