EFL havent spent £1bn on transfer fees like the PL have this season.

From a business pov I understand totally clubs need some income, but when they’re expecting fans to feed them cash for a far superior product at all different times of the weekend in this current climate it’s a piss take.

Football isn’t a basic right, nobody has suggested it is, these clubs are beginning to alienate there own support by charging £15.

Not in this household, £7.50 per head to see in full a match we'd otherwise miss isn't causing any alienation whatsoever.

Are the awkward kick off times not related to Sky & BT chosen matches or potential European involvement? The one we've paid for so far was 3pm Saturday as is I believe our next one.

Fair do’s it suits you.

The awkward KO times are to maximise profit. As a ST holder, you know only too well how much you get messed about with KO times throughout the season.

With the exception of the contracted sky/bt games -Sat 12:30/5:30 ko Sunday 2:00/4:30pm Monday 8pm games-there’s no Reason why the rest of the games can’t all ko simultaneously at 3pm. Some weeks there’s CL/Europa games which force games to sunday’s.

thats the thing isnt it, they still have the games kick off at 10 different times from friday thru monday to try and get the maximum amount of PPVs from the neutrals. If they are going to resort to the 5 games shown live/FTA (as they have), then all the other games should go back to 3pm saturday or 2pm sunday as they usually would and then just be sold to the fans of those sides (at a reasonable price). theyd rather try and exploit the current situation and get those who are willing to pay £15 several times over a weekend, week after week!
 
I pay £5 a month for BT (split with a mate) and nothing for Sky Sports because I use my dad's Sky Go - imagine paying 15 quid for one single game! Haha, no chance. :LOL:

I don’t know, I just assumed that the PL clubs had season tickets already paid for this season. If fans having had to pay for season tickets yet I don’t then understand why people are complaining about the PPV cost. I really can’t believe there are people who want to watch every footy game, I know I have no interest in watching any teams other than the one I suppor.

I watched a lot when they were on.. but now there not I can't say i miss them

Not sure I'd pay to watch a west ham game or I'd just watch the sky and bt games

When I had BT sport and Sky through my Virgin package, I watched the Liverpool games and almost nothing else. Did I watch Spurs-West Ham or any other non Reds game no chance. Life’s too short to sit watching telly and footy on it. I also don’t understand those who say they love footy and watch every televised game but never go watch their local non leagues instead.

I'll watch tournament golf on TV but there's no way I'm wandering down to the local muni to watch 24 handicappers slice, top & shank it.
 
I would not pay for Sky footy as I am not willing to contribute to footballers earnings of £100k plus a WEEK!

I do though have the Sky Golf channel on its own. Think it is about £18 per month.

But they've already taken funds from ticket holders who are on long term deals/commitments and have offered absolutely no indication of how (if) fans will be compensated....and that's a lot of people/money.

That doesn't not go to footballers at all tho....

One sky sports channel regardless of what one is £18 pm .. with all of them for £27 last time I checked

So if you get football , golf, F1 or whatever your paying sky who pay little to golf compared to what they pay to football

So your 100% giving to footballers regardless how you dress it up

I've just logged into my Sky account out of curiosity as they often have decent offers. All Sky Sports channels for £18 a month. Do I rely on this continuously stop start IPTV I have or subscribe ready for the Masters ?
