I have already arranged a number of other courses with the guys I am meeting up with. Crail, Eden and Levin.

But i am arriving a little earlier than then, so can fit in one more round:

So which course would you play, Budget around £120 ish.

Lundin Links and Leven Links. They are side by side.

You could play 36 in a day, 18 on each course, for your £120.

The Jubilee is amazing but for £120 will only get you one round.

When are you here mate ,i play at Scotscraig if im of you'd be more than welcome. The Jubilee and the New are really good, try Carnoustie as well its no far from St Andrews.

if you've never played it before why not try & get on the Old Course, either through the ballot or rock up very early in the morning, its slightly over your budget at about £135 but I thought it was worth it as a one off

Carnoustie (Championship), Downfield, Monifieth or Panmure.

carnoustie awesome course
downfield a total tip just now
monifieth is a bit rough right now
panmure nice course but overrated

Disappointing to hear that about Downfield and Monifieth. I played them a few years ago and they were tremendous. A shame.

Downfield had it hard over the winter and is normally best in June to August,Monifieth is normally good but the greenkeepers made mess of the greens when hollow tining them so there a while away yet from being spot on which is a pity as its a course i really like and would think about joining.
