Searched past threads and online also but nothing fitting the need. 4 of us play different courses each week, none are members of anywhere and so don't have an official handicap.
To avoid squabbling and help the banter along I could do with an easy way to adjust handicaps each week.
We use stableford and I keep score on golfshot but I don't want the hassle of inputting everyone's score each week unless I have to. Golfshot works my handicap out but not the other 3.
Would taking an average of say last our 3 or maybe 5 round points and dividing it by two then adding/subtracting the difference to 18 to our current handicap to get a new one be a good fit do we think?
eg, I'm 18, last 3 rounds I scored 37+32+33=102/3=17
That's 1 below my handicap so I put it up to 19
Or is there a better way?
Or am I talking cobblers?
Thanks for your help!
