Should we take this game so seriously?

I did not take up golf to relax and enjoy the scenery. I retired from a sport that I had played competively for 16 years. So for me I was trying to fill the competitive void that was missing.

I still miss the physical side of football, but the competitve side and the never ending challenge has met my requirements.

For me, If I couldn't play comps and take it serious I probably would be doing something else on saturdays.

When we retire, we will both be off scratch. Except we'll probably be 85 years old :(

I am dreaming of a house backing onto the course. My wifes grand mothers house backs onto Moor Park (http://www.moorparkgc.co.uk/) and she wants to keep the house in the family, sadly I am last inline to the thrown but I can dream!! She gets 20 fresh Pro V1 into her garden a week!! She is 93 now but she played until she was 85. We found 7 hole in one cards in her loft a few years back.

I think I would always be in a good mood if that was my flow....
