After 7 months of abuse, my Dryjoys are starting to look a little 'off white'. They've been cleaned every couple of weeks, but they no longer look good and instead look tired and dull. I've tried Kiwi white dab on polish, but it just looks awful.

What are your thoughts about Jif cream? I've seen the ad on TV and I thought, 'okay, why not try it'. But I'd just thought I'd ask peoples opinion first.

I wouldn't use jif, it's an abrasive.

That's what I told my wife when she tried to clean some stubborn tar marks on her car. Unfortunately she'd already done it while I was at work. :o

Try some leather cleaning wipes for sofas ,I got mine from asda and they do a good job at taking the muck off and conditioning the leather.

Baby/wet wipes, and regularly.
Then use proper White Shoe cream and carefully rub it into the creases on the shoes, which is what tends to make them look so bad.
It also feeds the leather to keep them soft & supple, and when dries, shines up nicely.

Not an expert but will it not have an effect on the leather and waterproofing? I use baby wipes and they seem to keep them looking ok.

I use a leather conditioner once i get them clean, should have pointed that out in my original post.
