Should I be considered for an annual handicap review?

I think my confusion last year was that based on score relative to handicap in each medal I was well under the expected average. But it's your score in each medal relative to your finishing handicap that is used and since I'd already come down 3 shots I guess I didn't make it.

Ok. To add a slightly different twist to the thread.

This is my friends seasons scoring.

This is his first club handicap.

Started at 19 and is currently off 10, with 2 ESR's over the season. Will he see a reduction in the annual review?

I suspect that one will flag too - haven't done the calc though.

The recent ESR rather distorts the figures. There may be some sort of limiter to compensate for that.

A couple of further 'disclaimers'.

Anyone who's handicap reduces significantly throughout the year would flag if the handicap at the time was used, so I suspect that MGD is from the Final Handicap.

And there was also a mention in the 2012 Congu preamble that the calc had been tweaked to cover cases where fewer than 6 comps have been played.
