Short notice but anyone in the NW free for a game tomorrow (friday 2nd May)

Walmersley is nice and quirky, Not very long but tight and tricky with great views.
It is awkward to find though, Youll come off near Ramsbottom, back down towards bury then back underneath the M66 then Theres a single track road taking you up to the club.
You can just see the course/clubhouse on the right hand side of the m66 as your travelling northbound.

have rung Walmersley and the best they can do is after 1.15 due to visiting party and members roll up.
That's ok for me but probably not good for SCB, how do you feel about that time Danny?

Failing that we should be ok on Ellesmere before 10.30?

Its probably wise to play earlier if SCG is coming that far and has already set off. Ellesmere before 10:30 is fine for me. Anywhere within a few miles of Ellesmere you haven't played if you fancy a change?

Thanks for the knock and sorry if my travel made it awkward selecting a venue, roads were kind to me today.

It was nice to play a new course and meet a couple of members from the forum.

Louise_a played very nicely and didn't need any members bounces (I was reminded of Trevino's quote along the lines of there's no such thing as a good bounce in golf when you hit it down the middle), but we did all meet up at the greens. Hope you get to play at Walmersely soon.

It was a pleasure to take the two of you around Ellesmere, I am quite proud of where I play, we even visited some of the more remote areas ;)

Your journey was impressive!

Thanks for the scenic tour of the holes folks :D. Also thanks for being witness to my worst ever round of golf.

Absolutely cracking course though Louise; if I didn't live just that little bit too far, I'd seriously consider joining.
