When I got home from work tonight my shiny new sticks had arrived. I am now the proud owner of a set of Cleveland CG16s. Yes they are still GI irons but better to look at than my Cobras and hopefully will do the job on the course. I love that the irons each have the loft stamped on them, far easier to spot the gaps in my bag. The lofts are strong but no stonger than my previous set. Next job may have to be to sort my wedges out. Cannot wait to try them on Saturday.
I bought them from Snaintion golf in the end. They were a bit more expensive but could do the little bits of fitting recommended by the Cleveland rep. But the best thing was that I mentioned the cheaper price and they refunded me £55 on their price match policy.
