Shafts

I see alot of you talking about shafts. But what is the benefit of different shafts? I know there is stiff flexible. Think mine is a regular in my driver don't even know what type or if it can be changed but wondering what are the benefits? I do like my driver but a mate has offered me 50 for it an very tempted to go for a new one but don't want to regret it if I did. If was offered 5months ago I would of as fell out with it to the point if playing my 3wood all round but we made up and hit it better and more consistent than before

it all depends on your swing....

swing speed and tempo.how quick your transistion is at the top etc.

shafts can effect the ball flight and spin rate and can also cause you to hit it with a slice or draw/hook with a decent swing.
